Well. That took a bit of a turn. Last week I went for a November bike ride. Today…
Sigh.
Part-time prevaricator
I can’t recall ever going for a bike ride in November before, but today I went 10 km after work, before the sun set.
I got home just in time to set my camera up on the deck, on the tripod, and snap 200+ frames for a quick timelapse of the sunset.
I’ve only just today heard about the superstition that saying “Rabbit rabbit” on the first day of the month brings luck. How long were you planning to keep this from me?
Does it count if there’s a chubby bunny chillin’ in your yard for a few hours on the 1st?
On this windy Halloween evening in this pandemic year, I handed out candy using tongs and wearing a mask. Our Halloweeners:
…for a total of 13.
Weirdly, that’s four more than we had last year. I don’t know what that might mean.
There was a bit of fog this morning.

And of course, fog + cold = hoarfrost. Not much, but a little bit.

And if not, why not?
Shot from my deck this evening.

Leaving the farm first thing this morning, we saw this.

I took a couple pictures of the Milky Way tonight, as is my wont, and decided to present you with how it looked coming fresh out of my camera, and how it looks once I’ve cleaned it up. Enjoy!

I made a timelapse video of the clouds while we were at the farm last weekend. It’s about an hour, with photos snapped every 10 seconds.
And since it turned out so well, I did another one yesterday, out my upstairs window. Longer this time—there are about 4½ hours of clouds in this one.
