It was clear and the aurora data looked good, so I went out on a school night and took pictures till nearly all my batteries had died. (I neglected to charge them after my camping weekend, so it took about 45 minutes. Sigh.)
When I got back into town, the aurora were clearly visible in the back lane, so I coaxed a bit more juice out of my batteries and snapped a few more pictures. I got a couple of the front of the house, since I’m not sure how often I’ll have that particular opportunity.
Interested in prints of my photos? Let me know, and we can work something out.
