The art world was turned on its ear recent­ly with the new­ly-dis­cov­ered Magritte sketch “Ceci n’est pas un poulpe” (“This is not an octopus”).

  2. I took French all the way up to uni­ver­si­ty; I’m sure there was a dif­fer­ent word for “octo­pus”, because I don’t remem­ber hear­ing “poulpe” ever in my life.
