Where I grew up

Posted on August 3rd, 2025August 3rd, 2025 by Patrick
Stones in the shallows of Lake Winnipegosis

On my way up to Manipogo for the gents’ camping trip, I stopped in at a few of the places where I spent a lot of time in my formative years. It might be a while before I go that way again, so I took some photos.

École Laurier, where I learned to speak French
Ste. Rose Collegiate Institute
The Ste. Rose Regional Library
The grotto at Ste. Rose du Lac, a replica of the grotto at Lourdes
The house where I grew up, nearly completely hidden behind foliage
The beach at Lake Winnipegosis
The farmhouse

Interested in prints of my photos? Let me know, and we can work something out.
