Aurora Borealis

I took a lot of photos in 2023, some in the daylight, some after dark. Here are some of my favourites.

The moon rising behind a bare tree; the sky is dark blue with purplish clouds
Christmas tree lights, blurred into brightly-coloured circles
Rime ice / hoarfrost on a hedge's branches and berries
A spiderweb covered in frost
Tree branches covered in snow
Sunset clouds, orange against dark blue
Aurora borealis above evergreens
The Milky Way above the prairie.
Sunflowers
Young sapling at the edge of the river
Rays of sun breaking through the clouds (ridiculously over-enhanced)
Milky Way (4-photo vertical panorama)
Jupiter, Europa, Io, Ganymede, Callisto
Semicircular arcs of star trails above a dark lake
The Milky Way with a couple spruces at the very bottom in the foreground
The Milky Way
A fencepost in the foreground; in the background, blurred, is the barn
The barn at my late grandparents' now abandoned farm
An abandoned farmhouse on the side of the highway
Panoramic view of my late grandparents' now abandoned farm
The campfire, bright in the darkness
Craig by firelight
Ray in the firelight
Star trails above the campsite; in the foreground are evergreen branches, lit orange by the fire below
Ukrainian flag
A crow sits on the telephone line, facing to camera left
Lilacs

Flamingos on my lawn for my 50th birthday
The Moon
Rime ice (often called hoarfrost) on a branch
Rime ice (often called hoarfrost) on a tree in wintertime
Red berries, their stalks coated in rime ice (often called hoarfrost)
Kathleen stands with her birthday flamingos
Cedric serving a volleyball
Dramatic clouds at sunset
Matt and Elaine smiling for the camera; a mysterious 3rd person behind them is giving both of them bunny ears
Stars and horizon-hugging aurora
Star trails
Frost (or rime ice) coats a spiderweb in the corner of a fence
Rime ice (often called hoarfrost) on the branches of a hedge
Very blurred lights on a Christmas tree

Interested in prints of my photos? Let me know, and we can work something out.
